Hello Shlomo, with nothing against your post whatsoever, it did not take me more than a glossing over of to absolutely know that what you are saying within it, is all in line with my thoughts & feelings. It is my “feelings” of utter “frustration” that I have had to drag myself away from it, to save myself from becoming so angry, that I don’t like myself… when I get so Angry….As I am prone to “overfeeling as if” I am right there, in the trenches & on the ground, but totally unable and not even qualified, to even retaliate “in words only” to what Israel is experiencing & facing! this is a double dilemma for me, at 72, oceans away from the conflict zone, in the safety of living a very comfortable life, in the land downunder , it rips & tears away at me, as I sigh & cry, for the people of the Tribe of Judah in little Israel…. who are My Kin, (for Jacob is so small, who will deliver him, for he is so small….?) though I am Not a Jew, yet I Am an “Israelite” indeed!!! and am of one of the Lost 10 Tribes of Jacob/Israel, as one of the Son’s of Joseph, Ephraim!!! (on my Father’s side David Ambrose Jeremiah Boniface BRETT) & (on my Mother’s side Ariel Adelaide Grace TOMKINS), of the Tuatha De Danann, the Tribe of Dan) as with Ephraim, the Grandson of Jacob said, “ let My Name be upon the lads” (the other being Manasseh) in other words the Name of Israel! There is much yet to be understood in bigger scheme of things, but the Brotherhood that is between Me & Thee, runs so Very Very Deep that is still yet to come pass. As it is written. Meanwhile I am forced to sit somewhat shackled, until the restitution of “all things” and until Shiloh is come. I am the 7th of David & Ariel ( my Dad & my Mum, my eldest Brother is David, my youngest Sister is also Ariel. Isa 29 has a special & deep meaning that connects me to everything that is happening in Israel, as if to me, always.
Hardly a fair fight, Israel doesn’t have to dig up water Pipes to make rockets. USA does it for them. How easy is it to be a bully when you’re a thousand times stronger than you enemy.
Hey Martin: You know Israel marched out of Gaza many years ago and allowed Gazans their autonomy. They even had an airport. When Hamas started firing rockets everything and everyone coming into Gaza had to be scrutinized very carefully at border checkpoints. Many of the construction materials to build tunnels.
All the billions that Hamas has received could have gone to enriching the lives of Gazans. Hamas could have chosen peace. Instead they chose perpetual war.
