To what extent is Lebanon picking vocal opponents of Israel as a way of proving to their citizens that they can "resist" without Hezbollah in charge? You and I know that making peace with Israel would be the best thing for the future of Lebanon and the region **if the population would go along with the agreement** which it seems some at least would be ready to do. I can only hope that Salam, Aoun, and the Lebanese parliament focus on their domestic issues including disarming Hezbollah and Amal, instead of picking cross-border fights.

Just too sus…. Same wolf in a different sheepskin!

It’s going to be interesting once the sides garner their positions within Lebanon being 31% Sunni 43% Christian. The power struggle could erupt into another civil war footing very quickly. At present Turkey is heavily involved, with boots on the ground. But does not have a strong enough economy to do much else. On the other hand, Germany is invested already, with every intention of getting both feet (jackboots) firmly in the door, economically, politically and Militarily!!!! Once it sorts it’s current internal problems out back home. A New Germany at the helm of a New 10 member EU/empire (that is already in the making) along with Turkey & Cyprus, will build it’s presence in a big way in an alliance with Syria, Lebanon & Saudi Arabia. This will Not bode well for Iran! Lots to be watching as Iran looses it’s influence over with it closest neighbours and looks to Egypt, Libya, Ethiopia & Yemen to ally with. Jordan is a meat in the sandwich and could go either way.

Israel will be adjusting left, right & centre and be forced to seek help from the EU/ Arab alliance, which will not end well, at all!
